Sometimes you just cannot walk away from a challenge. You walk up to it...look at it and walk away...only to walk back up to it...think some more and then walk back away.
Exactly what the trek to Base Camp has been for me. That is until I queued myself up again to make a second attempt.
New Group I am going with.....but more on that later...for now...the training begins..
Keeping up 15-20 miles of running a week and now back to hiking up and down that hill. 500 feet up, then 500 feet down...
Today about 5,000 feet of change...not bad for a first workout.
And I had an audience that just stared and watched and did not budge an inch...
